This past week will be looked back on as the moment when the curtain was pulled back and a critical mass of Americans admitted to themselves we are governed by a political establishment unworthy of its charge.

I agree on the first half, but sadly I still think the two party tribalism is just closing ranks even more.

It is beyond words how little Congress or the Supreme Court cares about the safety and well being of Americans versus the profits and well-being of corporations, killing the American idea of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and letting the world die a slow death.

Real world people saw this years ago and have been living through it. Why it's only now a revelation to "liberal" pundits and bluecheckers speaks volumes.

This week has been the roughest as an American, definitely. This is having lived through some terrible past events already.

For me that curtain was pulled back in 2015. I was a lifelong Democrat like my parents bf me, who were active in the civil rights movement. Now, I'm a person without a party.

The US looks more like the USSR when all of their leaders were old men who survived Stalin and WW2. The USSR was over-extended then and today the US is doing the same.
