A Sanitizing euphemism for slavery cannot erase the scope of inhumanity that permeated the USA, and cannot mask the cultural guilt that ensues when these records of slavery are dredged up in the consciousness of all Americans. “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

Now that’s just wrong!!!!!!!! However don’t forget. There were black slave owners in Texas and many states. It’s not just a “white” thing and the Irish we also taken in as slaves and Chinese too!! So being a slave isn’t a black thing either. It’s ALL wrong !

That educator group should be –involuntarily, of course– relocated into gulags... No sales, no inhuman transatlantic crowded voyages –where only a fraction makes it– they need to learn the subtle differences. This wouldn’t be punitive, only educational.

I suppose this Texas educator group would also be in favor of reclassifying murder as involuntary body molecule relocation.
