When Steve Bannon said their goal was to dismantle the administrative state, he meant it. Basically these people do not want the government to exist in any way to help people. They want unfettered capitalism, not democracy, to be the basic governing principle of America.

The Federal Government DOES NOT EXIST to “help people”, that’s the job of the State and Local governments. If you want the Fed government to be all encompassing, then eliminate all State and Local governments, take the “United States” out of our name and just call us America.
