When Steve Bannon said their goal was to dismantle the administrative state, he meant it. Basically these people do not want the government to exist in any way to help people. They want unfettered capitalism, not democracy, to be the basic governing principle of America.

Its a little shocking to see you fighting for *less* Democracy, less personal agency and a greater dependence on Big Government. Capitalism has nothing to do with any of it.

Government over reach is a big problem. Nobody elected the bureaucrats imposing these policies.

The only way to save democracy is to have unelected bureaucrats legislate policy. Insisting elected legislatures legislate policy is highly undemocratic.

Government: “We help people” People: “How?” Government: “We take money from you and give it to them.” People: “Who is ‘them’ ?” Government: “Other countries, corporations, politicians, people who didn’t earn it.” People: “Do I get a say in who gets it?” Government: “No.”
