For many of the people who have worked so hard to make this happen, their real problem is not really with abortion; it’s with women having sex that’s not under the control of a man. They’re trying to roll back an era of sexual freedom.

And enslave women—because if you don’t have legal control over your own body, you’re a slave.

Your argument is as simplistic as those who blame Putin for the price hikes. Dems had 50 years to codify abortion into law as many states did. Just by blaming men, you lose the support of half of the population. Men are not the enemy here, politicians are.

WHAT?! Weird take. Unless! You mean “their real problem … is with women having sex [and using abortion as a means of birth control because they’re too stupid or lazy to not take precautions]” Is that what you meant? Or are you sticking with that “under the control of man” thing?

I think for many pro-lifers it has more to do with the babies& protecting them,at being horrified by the procedure&imagining what it's like for the fetus, they don't consider the woman&what is going on with her&her needs/desires.

It's worse that that. It's about the misogynists who desperately want women to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, where women are supposed to "obey" men. They want women OUT of positions of power in the workplace and in government.
