Got a text just now from Pelosi asking for $ so Dems can win in Nov & fight back on this - when she supported Cuellar, the last pro-choice Dem in the House - is everything that's wrong with the Democrats. So much they should have done & could have done. Pelosi should resign now

This is the entire point Marianne, these issues go the way they go for the explicit purpose of fundraising. The best time to ask for money is when emotions are at their highest. So give all you can now, then give some more later, and even more after that.

The leadership in both parties are first and foremost fundraisers, but it does not have to be this way. We have the Internet! Paid advertising as voter information (aka money) does not have to rule elections anymore! I'd be happy to demo the platform/app that can change this.
