When an industry is a parasite on the planet and a parasite on the health of our bodies and a parasite on our economy, at what point do we say no?
Gas is over $5 a gallon. Why? Well, oil companies made $93 BILLION in profits in the first quarter and are spending $88 billion on stock buybacks and dividends to enrich their wealthy stockholders. Yes, it’s time for windfall profits tax NOW.

We can say no all we like. Bernie is just one politician. You know the squad is going to vote as Nancy tells them to, unless their vote isn't needed.

Marianne, it has not much to do with these things when it comes to gas prices. It’s all about crude oil speculators and traders. Folks should learn about how oil futures and cash contracts work. Solution? Governments should SHORT the assets.

Bernie Sanders blames evil corporations for everything without taking into account corporations operate in a global market. Biden wants US production and usage of oil to go down. Usage has gone up and Biden is now begging foreign countries for more oil. oilprice.com/Energy/Oil-Pric…

The petroleum industry and the availability of cheap energy is directly responsible for the level of affluence we (including you and all the Bernie Bros) enjoy, and is the only way out of poverty for millions of people in the under-developed non-western nations.

There are literally 1,000’s of companies shilling sugar and seed oils that have killed more people than the entire oil/gas companies could ever do. Let’s start there first.

When he says 'now' he understands that he no longer has much influence, or even any leverage, and even if he did he's proven repeatedly that he's not willing to use it. What's 'now'? Just before the Democrats (that he's supposedly not a part of) get obliterated in the elections?
