Our political system as it now exists is institutionally resistant to the level of fundamental economic reform that would balance the playing field and give the working people of this country an equal opportunity for life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. We have to fix that.

So how do you change that? The very people who benefit most from our system are those who shape it and shape the mindset of the American voter. They own the whole thing: politics, wealth, media. Nothing short of revolution will change it. And there isn’t the public will for that.

A non-violent political revolution, absolutely. The Abolitionists, Women Suffragettes, and Civil Rights workers didn’t just wring their hands and say it couldn’t be done. It was seemingly impossible but they made it happen anyway. So can we.

But the conditions that marginally allowed for dissent have been gradually taken away. Both parties allowed the message to be bought by the powerful. Not enough people believe in change anymore, at least not enough. How does this new revolution occur w/o allies in Congress.

We just keep pushing. There’s no one place or one thing. It’s every place and everything. Every election, every movement activity, becoming a nonviolent guerrilla movement for political change. It’s already begun. Look at what’s happening with labor etc

Agreed. Although retail is still vastly unorganized and desperately in need of unions. The big obstacles change politics faces are the phony left on social media & voter indifference. How do we effectively organize in the face of apathy? Dems don’t even run candidates in my area.
