Today I would say $1T. It was an important moment for me because the debate was in Detroit. I knew what Detroiters had shown me when I lived there, and I knew I would never forgive myself if I didn’t make the argument for reparations on the stage that night.

The answer to that question put you on the map. I have no idea how that would work to implement from a practical sense but surely that would stir up the far right to unimaginable levels.
