Talked with a German cousin last night about how every citizen there gets full healthcare and free education through college or tech school. It’s just their normal. She said “ I don’t understand why people in America say ‘socialism’ like it’s an insult.”

That's fine.. But in Germany everyone pays into the system. So no more 40% 50% paying no taxes..maybe take the German tax code too? Might be shocked

Thinking about more ..yes take the whole German system.. Everyone pays.. A lot more in taxes.. Fewer go to college/university only 21%. Trades are a big part.. College is to prep for workplace.. No gender studies.. Accounting.. Engineering.. Teaching.. No b.s. degrees

1st off, Germany is not a "socialist" country. Our mistake is subsidizing colleges and not subsidizing the students.
