I don’t know what we have to do to protect trans people from the Proud Boys/brown shirts who are after them these days, but whatever it is we need to do it. They’re picking on who they perceive to be the most vulnerable people now & if we don’t stop it they will just keep going.

NEW: San Francisco drag queen Panda Dulce says their Drag Queen Story Hour for kids at San Lorenzo Library today was stormed by people shouting homophobic slurs and hate speech. They allegedly shouted "tranny" and "pedophile." I called @ACSOSheriffs who confirmed the incident:

Around 20 transpeople are murdered each year. nearly all of them are black and murdered by black men. Most hate crimes against lgbt are committed by black people, not Proud Boys. But you'll never talk about the bigotry of blacks.
