The crimes of the Nixon administration were almost small compared to those of the Trump administration. The main difference is that more people at that time actually cared if there were criminals in the White House.

Even my Repub parents were very upset as Watergate unfolded. They were angry & relieved when Nixon resigned, even though they'd both voted for him just 2 yrs earlier. Now---trumpies just hang in there, loyal to their orange god & convinced he was right.
