Carter put solar panels on the top of the WH; Reagan’s first act was to take them down. If we’d gone green when Carter first wanted,if we had hi-speed rail &other forms of mass transit the way we should, none of this whoredom for oil & desecration of the planet would be happening

You should get into public office. Since you're clearly more intelligent than most of our nation's leaders, then surely you'd be victorious in local and soon state-wide elections, so you could share your ideas with everyone.

Clinton had 8 years. Why didn’t he put them back up?

Ha! Panels are virtually useless without battery store. High speed rail is already built in Florida. Semi trucks cannot be powered by anything other than diesel. You are either naive, or paid to spew propaganda.

When I see acres of Solar and Wind in Central Park, The Mall, Malibu, etc., I will believe the "elite" are serious about this issue. Wind and solar and ugly. Also, there are acres of decommissioned equipment laying everywhere. Do you mind if we ship some to store?

Realize that solar panels wear out, are not recyclable, and batteries they charge are made from rare earth minerals that the US govt won't allow to be mined in the US, AND that China gets their rare earth elements from Afghanistan and child-slave mined African countries.
