The live January 6 hearings on TV right now are already very powerful. Definitely worth watching. Important.

As someone I consider an ally to the working class and our movement, how do you explain why the average worker, who can't feed their kids or afford things in this economy, should care about this show trial?

One party could care less about your problems. The other party sort of cares but is so weak sometimes that they do very little about it. If we let what happened on January 6 continue, the party that doesn’t care at all will have this all sewn up. That’s why. (How did I do?)

Neither party gives a shit about people's problems. One party pretends to care, and that's as far as they're willing to go. January 6th has virtually no barring on most peoples lives. People need healthcare and for government to address the out of control corporate greed.

First, I genuinely appreciate you responding. As someone who agrees addressing 1/6 is important--It isnt compelling enough for struggling families. I appreciate your honesty saying Dems barely lift a finger, but it reinforces why they won't spend their emotional energy watching.

Do you actually believe this shit?

If this committee wants to be seen as anything other than partisan score settling it’s simple: Start with a graph showing that partisan conspiracies about election fraud began in 2016 with “Russians and Putin stole the election” and then show how it got worse from there.

Oh and just stop with the Dems are weak line of BS while you're at it. The Dems aren't weak, they're complicit.

Imagine the amount of privilege one most have to tweet out this utter drivel.

Poorly. Both parties not only don't care about our problems but are paid by corporations to make them worse. And both parties are thrilled to have the 1/6 committee as a distraction for people to bicker about rather than the people demanding that Congress do something for us.

The democrats are not weak Marianne; they fail at helping the working class ON PURPOSE. I’m not sure how much more we have to say this before you realize it.
3
The other party isn't weak, nor does it care about this at all other than to use as a handy distraction from its failures.
3
Weak or do they also not care? Where is the fight to help transgender kids? To stop Roe from ending? To stop the war? To raise wages? To help the homeless? You can't say they are weak if you've never seen them even try to lift up a single person. They choose that.
