It bugs me that a TX politician is trying to outlaw drag shows for minors. It’s not about whether or not children should watch the shows; it’s the dark suggestion that drag queens are doing something harmful to children to begin with. What’s shameful is the politician doing this.

Sad reality: if Democrats insist on focusing on what is maligned, incorrectly to be clear, as 'wokeism' while inflation & gas prices are at record highs-they're going to get crushed in the mid-terms & beyond. Dems have abdicated advocacy via unwillingness to go after corporations

You can remain “bugged” then, because the rest of us aren’t going to put up with it. We will protect children from being exposed to sexual perversion. Why were they made a target audience in the first place?

Hmm..on the surface, those "shows" do seem potentially harmful to children. Hopefully, there will be some good debate on the issue.

You missed the point. Sexualized behavior around children is wrong. I love trans people and many of them dress provocatively but never around children. Glamorously yes, absolutely. sexually provocative dress is not good in schools or for children viewing.
