The biggest "democracy crisis" isn't a one-day riot on 1/6, it's 40 years of politicians being bankrolled by donors and refusing to do things that more than 80% of the public wants.

Agreed, but downplaying J6 is irresponsible. The republicans have made it very clear from top to bottom that they are not interested in democracy. They’re telling us who they are, why aren’t we believing them?
