The reason Americans don’t trust our institutions is because the institutions have proven themselves untrustworthy. From Congress to SCOTUS to WH to big business, institutions expected to be at least on some level responsible to the people have been exploitative and even cruel.

Institutions are run by people, so it's untrustworthy people, fueled by emotionalism, lack understanding, who's motives is power Marianne you are not telling us, what we don't already know, evidence that you are also driven by emotions and believe that more laws are the solution
