GOP is blocking renewing the free school lunch program—which feeds 23M kids daily—because of the $11B cost. Meanwhile, GOP voted to approve $40B in military aid to Ukraine & wants to spend tens of billions more arming teachers🤔 “They got money for war, but can’t feed the poor.”

The bill talked about here was extending free lunch to ALL students, regardless of income. So rich families need free lunches too - using money we are borrowing from all our children (deficit)? And we wonder how America is in the fiscal mess it is.

How exactly is it the GOPs fault? I thought @TheDemocrats controlled the house, senate and the presidency. Maybe it has to do with the 'woke' curriculum the democrats are trying to force on states to be eligible for the funding of free lunches. Isn't that what Biden is doing here
