There are 2.5 million homeless children in America today. That should be considered an emergency but it’s not. Children can’t vote and have no economic leverage, therefore they’re considered expendable by the system.

Lesson learned - government is incompetent, bureaucratic and has demonstrated that despite all the $$$ a real solution will only come from people who are passionate. Imagine giving $900 million to an organization that excels at mental health instead of to @BilldeBlasio.
