No amount of body armor can protect you from insurance companies denying you healthcare or Big Pharma price gouging medicine or Big Oil destroying the planet or defense contractors leading us into criminal wars for profit. Yet those things will kill you faster than the govt will.

All of those things are created by government action. So you are right - the government is out to get us. We probably need body armor to protect ourselves
