Reading twitter, it’s obvious how many people are more afraid of the government than of the corporations that control it. How successful they have been at disconnecting the dots and displacing people’s rage.

It’s incomprehensible to me how you believe that government can be some kind of force for good. It’s literally impossible.

Corporations will always want to influence government to lower their costs, raise their profits or achieve whatever goal they're after. It's our elected officials who choose to do the corp. bidding all while lying to us when they say they have our best interests in mind.

Reading Twitter, it's obvious how many people are apologists for Gov't, politicians, media and oligarchs. How successful they have been at pitting people against one another instead of them.

Clearly, our current government and in particular the legislature is controlled by corporations & entire industries. NRA, oil, big pharma and so on. Elected officials rely on these orgs to fund their campaigns. Officials reciprocate by protections & incentives to these industries

They are one and the same at this point. The corporations own the gov’t and the politicians are part of the owner class that run the corporations. But politicians are SUPPOSED to be representing the peoples interests. That’s where the rage comes in.
