Oh my God listen to this.
Angeli Gomez, the mother of two Robb Elementary School students, was handcuffed by Marshals after urging officers to enter the school during the shooting. When she was uncuffed, she raced into the school to save her sons — and believes police “could have saved many more lives."

This is so horrible, inexplicable behavior by the police. I'm sorry for those parents.

Why are you surprised? Do you think police officers are employed to save the lives of average citizens? Stop being naive. Speak to any 21-year-old black man wearing a hoodie.

This is absolutely devastating… And an indictment of these officers and administrators in charge. They should ALL be held personally criminally liable ... and the school administration should be held to task. Have we raised a generation of cowards? Compliance has gone too far

Gun devotees use this as justification for gun proliferation, but their reasoning is backwards. Laws have a deterrent effect. People with weapons of destruction do not. Police are afraid to do their jobs thanks to the NRA.

The police are in the school trying to arrest a parent instead of saving children.

The police, rather than handcuff her, should have given her a Kevlar helmet, body-armour, a gun, and allowed her to go in and rescue the children - which she would have done willingly; and did in rescuing her own children!
