They’ve been talking about a red wave in the midterms for so long, but decision to repeal Roe v. Wade decision & Uvalde aftermath should change that. The people still need to rise up against fascism even when the party that should be doing so far more vigorously refuses to do so.

There are serious progressives in DC, even in Congress, trying hard every day. They may or may not always do what we want, but to act like we know everything and they're all bad and stupid, is simplistic at best and ridiculous at worst.

True there are a handful, but the they are too few to have real power. The ones in leadership and with the numbers side with capital over the people every time it matters. They use their faux outrage to stay in power and don’t care about actual progress or resisting facial.

Marianne, we're a democracy, we're judging them with the public facts, there shouldn't be any private facts, but if there are and they aren't spilling the tea they are also complicit. In no universe do they come out looking moral or good.

I didn’t mean to imply all of them, you’re right. But the democrat party as an institution and their leadership especially are completely disconnected from the rest of us. And they (again - the leadership) work together against the serious people who actually want to help
