They’ve been talking about a red wave in the midterms for so long, but decision to repeal Roe v. Wade decision & Uvalde aftermath should change that. The people still need to rise up against fascism even when the party that should be doing so far more vigorously refuses to do so.

If there is a red wave in mid-term, that will be because Biden's did close to nothing for Americans. I really think a red wave would be catastrophic for the country but that would be the consequence of choosing Biden as president instead of Bernie.

Replying to @LauzonDenise
But faced without reality I still think our highest priority has to be avoiding the catastrophe.

You sound ridiculous. We’re already facing catastrophe with Biden. Who’s done nothing but lie to us. This vote blue no matter who crap gotta go. Democrats gotta start giving us the candidates we want. Not who the dnc chooses.

Apparently the Democrats in Congress disagree with you - they are fighting hard to ensure that "nothing substantially changes".

At this point collapse is inevitable! There is NO Vespasian waiting the in wings to save the US ! Run as Kakistocracy with an undemocratic Vichy DNC diet fascist party on one side which ran a 2nd coronation and installed a THE VEGETABLE!

Kind of like voting blue no matter who helped us avoid the catastrophe? It's over and has been for awhile. Time to think outside the box of political parties for a way to save ourselves. But you already know that.
Avoiding? You rich elitist! We’ve been in a full on catastrophe for quite some time now. You’re disconnected from the majority of Americans experience. Wake up or get out of the way.
The catastrophe is already here Marianne. No public option, no $15 wage, no eviction moratorium, no student debt cancelation, millions kicked off unemployment, meanwhile $54 billion and counting to fight a proxy war with Russia. I am never voting Dem again and I am not alone.
