Some would argue nothing stunts public discourse more than talking to people/ respecting people acting in bad faith, pretending they're well meaning, legitimizing the illegitimate in society by acting like evil people might be reasonable or have a point but, agree to disagree

Every day I have to hear Biden talk about how great Mitch McConnell is and how he misses his segregationist friends while people I love are under assault, I'm not looking for a gotcha, I'm simply done playing games, I'm simply establishing that the line has to be drawn somewhere

I know,I respect you come from a place of compassion,I used to too, just seen so many broken promises/empty words come from civility that I feel we've forgotten to fight for justice,I personally don't feel that's at odds with what you're saying, I feel it's a necessary complement
