I have always found it easy to speak w/ people I disagree with. Strange thing is I am beginning to question my own long-held ideas. Maybe I was wrong.

"little thing" sure. Poverty, plowing down the homeless tents with no solution, starvation, war, militarized police, capitalism that chokes the life out of 99% of the people...yeah, no. I have no respect for them & keep toxic people out of my life.

This second sub-group I will not respect or talk to. I will only fight them and try to separate them from the first sub-group. This implies my morals are better than theirs? Of course.

Unfortunately, our culture has been all about "hooray for my side" & shame the other. When will we stop imagining that we are not perfect & right all of the time. We can learn from each other but we first listen.

There's a big difference between someone with a different opinion and someone who is just trying to piss you off. I refuse to waste my spiritual energy on trolls and others like them who only want to get a reaction.

Demanding the removal of voices with which one disagrees is openly admitting that one can form no arguments with which to counter their nonsense, and to present one's own positions.
