What does it say about a society that has no problem spending money to keep people in prison, but has the deepest ambivalence about sending them to college?

I worked w/AIDS patients thru an agency in West Hollywood years ago many of our patients were getting food from your ProjectAngelFood. That was a great thing you did but I must tell you the nurses ate some of the food because some of the patients were too ill to eat. Bless you.RN

I also remember the meals were prepared and other work done by volunteers and the patients were not charged. Some of the meals were gourmet grade and all food of excellent quality. We had a great team of RN's and everyone grateful for Project Angel Food. Great job you did.

If the patients were too ill at the time and the nurses ate it, I'm fine with that. God bless them all.

The food would have been disposed of if not eaten by the patients. We were working very hard & many 12 hr. shifts & doing patient visits on our way home. We were all putting in many hours as this was during the epidemic. Nurses didn't eat anything the patients would have eaten.

The food would have been disposed of if the patients couldn't eat it. The patients were all terminal at that time and very sick. We were working long hours giving a great many infusions and only ate the food when offered.
