Actually, the ar15 was designed to wound many. Due to the lightweight cartridge more rounds could be carried at one time making it easier for combat. By wounding many, the fighters would be utilizing more enemy resources. (Medics, recovering wounded people)

Sure shotguns and pistols. However statistically this is most likely then successful use of gun in self defense; intruder using your gun on you, and exponentially more likely to be killed by friend/family member/yourself by accident or on purpose if you own a gun.

When is the last time you have been shooting? Honestly the gun control side doesn’t know what they talk about half the time. In WW1 & WW2 the standard ammo was 30.06 designed to kill. Vietnam they went to the M-16 which used a 556 which is half the size of the 30.06 round.

once they get rid of our a r's and a k's they will target high powered rifles and shotguns next. i have seen the talking points they are going to use already. "these guns are designed to take down game much larger than humans so they are MORE POWERFUL AND DANGEROUS THAN AK 47's"
