Someone's right to own an AR-15 should not, does not, and must not override our right to guarantee safe schools. Period.

The question here really is what kinds of weapons should a individual be allowed to own versus at what point have we just turned into a nanny state trying to keep the sharp objects away from the wretched masses.

Mw, the people there failed the children. They had opportunities to keep the children safe but ignored their own protocols. To bad the trained law enforcement, FBI & teachers were complacent. The gun didn't cause this. Blaming the gun & not the people or animal caused Texas, etc.

Wrong we need stronger gun control but bans are not the answer. Especially in a nation with a government that is will to strip away are basic human rights. We need self defense cause are cops and government won’t protect us.I encourage lgbtq, black and immigrants to have firearms.

Spouting bromides and virtue-signaling will not solve the problem. How did the drug war work for preventing drug use Marianne?

Same argument could be made about all guns. Most deaths caused by handguns easily concealable. Libs want to ban them all. Don’t let them. Harden the schools! Libs care more about aesthetics than protecting children.

You don't have a right to safe schools. You have a natural right to self-defense. The more you're willing to exercise that right, the safer you will be. The greater the ability of those within schools to defend themselves, the safer they will be. Period.

Nothing says ban assault rifles like cops afraid of a shooter who has one. #Uvalde
