YES! Mass shootings went down 43% during that time, then tripled once the ban was repealed.
We had an assault weapon ban for 10 years: 1994-2004. The world didn’t end. People kept their (other) guns. They bought new guns. It was hardly an attack on gun ownership. This is the least we can do.

Never happened, even the Washington Post called that a lie.

I'm guessing even by some miracle there is another ban, it'll only be endlessly appealed, and eventually overturned in some court by some judge.

Hate to break it to you but look at the correlation of DV and mass shootings. Not that I am against banning assault rifles, but something like over 60% of mass shooters had prior DV convictions.

Most gun deaths BY FAR are from easily concealed handguns. Don’t pretend for a SINGLE INSTANT, that banning one type of civilian arm unconstitutionally is not just a step towards banning handguns, using this data, and then all guns. Next it will be your kitchen knives they come 4

We also had a booming economy. So many things were awesome in the 90s. Also school shootings started in the 90s. There is more to this.
