I never hear people on the right say oh people will never vote for this or that or oh the system is too fucked up it’ll never happen; they see what they want and say ok let’s go make it happen. 1/3

A problem on the left is all the social approval given to cynicism & despair. I understand why people are depressed & angry about the oligarchy, but every time we talk about it like it’s an insurmountable problem we give it power. That’s exactly what they want you to think. 2/3

The gun issue is a perfect example. Like healthcare & climate change it’s an example of corporate power tyrannizing us yes. But negativity about our prospects is not the answer. If enough of us say we’re going to change things and we’re not going to stop until we do, we will. 3/3

The gun issue is the least corporate power issue around. The gun issue almost destroyed the biggest gun corporate power: Smith and Wesson. The gun issue is a people issue. Please respect that.

Agreed 100%. Can we please also amplify the solution? Election reform is necessary to finally be able to 1) hold elected officials accountable, 2) be able to vote for our true preferences, and 3) incentivize elected officials to align their actions with the will of the people.

I don't think the gun issue is our #1 problem. Hope though is. Economic possibilities and fairness. A hope for peaceful interactions. Utilizing understanding, respect and diplomacy in foreign policy and everyday life.

We can change things if we embrace populism & stop fighting eachother. That means running on defeating the oligarchy as an independent, not on defeating the left or the right. Leftists & right wing need to befriend eachother and stop fighting over abortion & the second amendment

Populists need to recognize that the only thing to defeat is the ruling elite. If a candidate runs on a populist agenda as an independent & calls out corruption on both sides they can rally a lot of people. Talk about policy not culture war issues. Avoid labels like "progressive"

You won't ever see the Dems 'take their gloves off' because they are part of the Corporate terrorism of America, they play the part of the fool, and are well paid for it. Of course their 'rationalizations' are good guy ones, not nazi ratfucker ones like the R's. So there's that.

How many hours did you put in working on your feet this week? It's a lot harder to overcome the despair, and harder to find the energy when you're working 40,50,60 hours a week, & you're trying to raise a family. It's a lot harder to magically feel positive and make change.

And pushing back means ... Voting the Politicians that take money from the Gun Lobby ... Out of Office!
