There are members of our SCOTUS who were placed there for the specific purpose of making a corrupt corporatist system even more entrenched. They are not there to protect our democracy but to defend the system against it.

We do not live in a democracy, and you wouldn’t want to. We live in a republic. The SC is susceptible to political tides, that is true, but just bc you don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t working, or isn’t protecting the Constitution.

Wrong. We are a Constitutional Republic. Your opinion currently on the Supreme Court is based on the fact that your "side" is not in control and the "other" is. Were you critical of the Supreme Court when your "side" was on control?
