Nobody's bigger on thoughts and prayers than I am. But thoughts and prayers shouldn't be used as a cover for not doing what you were told to do when you spent all that time in prayer. #BanAssaultWeaponsNow

The founding fathers never wanted the government to be more armed then the people. If they were here right now and saw an f-14 jet, they’d say “where can I get one”. We have a mental health issue disguised as a gun issue.

Homicides from ALL rifles, not just AR-style, are less than 2%. It's literally the least you can do. Enforce the laws we already have and then pass them nationally.

Marianne - go big or go home: if the Dems don’t deliver an assault weapons ban by Election Day, we boycott the elections. They’ll be out of power for at least 6 years anyways.

We are spiritual by nature god-given. Our every breath is a prayer in always asking for more.

Honestly feels like thoughts and prayers are when something is outside of our power to change. But this is within American Leadership's power to change.

Maybe when you pray to a wrathful god you get told to support fascists.
