It’s impossible to measure the trauma now prevalent among an entire generation of our young. The country will pay an unbelievable price for allowing our children to be routinely afraid of being shot at school. Any mental health crisis we have now will be dwarfed by what’s to come

The more we fixate on guns (a bandaid approach) the less we have energy and focus to deal with the root problem which is the fact that we are a violent society that keeps electing violent governments like the one we currently have. Why is this?

When the lives of our children are at stake, we do need to focus on the symptom as well as the cause.

I do hear you about addressing the symptom and cause, but let’s learn from the pandemic. The focus of our society was addressing symptoms not root causes of chronic illness. The result was lockdowns and big pharma. We are seeing the disaster of both now.

This is what terror and fear mongering do to society. They cause our focus to fixate on the short term symptoms (which do not work as we saw from the pandemic) and we ignore deep seated internal realities like un-health or a disturbed inner being.
