It’s impossible to measure the trauma now prevalent among an entire generation of our young. The country will pay an unbelievable price for allowing our children to be routinely afraid of being shot at school. Any mental health crisis we have now will be dwarfed by what’s to come

Maybe those at the top of the political and economic pyramid WANT all of this chaos? If you think about it, if you are a sociopath and want the people to accept Authoritarianism, this would be how you would go about it. The movie V for Vendetta kind of touches on this.

#NRA lies KILL Americans. Mens violence targets Women & children. We need: ✅Nat’l Safe gun ownership legislation with 21 age min ✅ @POTUS to direct archivist to publish #ERA for Womens constitutional equality ✅Nat’l Adverse Childhood Experience PREVENTION training all schools

It’s painful to recognize that individualism has won out against the collective conscious. The gun junkies won’t give up their addiction. Society must advocate for security systems in schools. Locked door policy, and guardians meeting their child at the door after school.

We should work hard to not exaggerate risk and also avoid projecting our own fears on to children. This goes for climate change ect or any legitimate threat adults have to deal with. Terrifying children isn't the best way to motivate them into action as adults.

That is one of the most sad things I have ever read. Those poor children, it’s just unimaginable

We are going to pay a price for locking them down for 2 years as well..

It has already begun. COVID escalated it, but our young have been telling us they are struggling for years.
