Imagine what our country would look like if we had federal funding of political campaigns - if money wasn’t a factor in politics at all. We’d have a chance at a government “of the people, by the people and for the people.” Money out of politics has got to be the ultimate goal.

I agree, but that goal cannot be achieved through the duopoly that is heavily rigged. Working within the current system has always resulted in complete failure because of that rigged system. It must be done outside of electoralism, otherwise you WILL fail.

So wrong and backwards. Politics are about bartering and trading this for that. Sheer corruption on every level from pharmaceutical to guns to war. I’m for a new system for funding campaigns…
