So I'm trying to get this straight. The police wouldn't take on this guy but the NRA says we should arm teachers and let them do it? Maybe keep AK-47's in their bottom drawer?

Again, if the teacher only has a handgun and the shooter has an assault weapon then what good does that do? Thus my question - AK-47s in the kindergarten classroom???

So we just need to teach kindergarten teachers to be sharpshooters? They just keep the gun on their body all the time in case the guy with an assault weapon comes in?

Many teachers are already gun owners. Just allow them to carry on the premises.

It doesn't take being a professional sniper to aim for center of mass. It's kind of what every gun owner is expected to be capable of.
