So I'm trying to get this straight. The police wouldn't take on this guy but the NRA says we should arm teachers and let them do it? Maybe keep AK-47's in their bottom drawer?

With that logic, it kinda makes one wonder what’s the point of the police, doesn’t it?

1. Establish a minimum standard of training for school employees who want to be armed. 2. Let them carry on campus if they have achieved that. 3. Problem solved in 98% of schools.

The writing is on the wall, they want our schools to be operated and run by the military.

The same teachers they don't trust with curriculums or books. Yes.

Way too dangerous 4 the police 2 go in. You don't know the situation inside. How many shooters there are/ hostages.... Very delicate thing 2 handle. Someone could get seriously hurt. Let Mr. Lumburg, the 5th period English teacher take care of it before the SWAT team arrives. 🙄

Yes. Unfortunately many people don't understand that the "good guy with gun" argument never meant police. The point was to put more guns in the hands of more people –– to sell more guns. sell. more. guns.

I don’t know if that’s so smart. It takes awhile to get to a bottom drawer. Maybe we should transplant all elementary teachers’ hands and arms with assorted weaponry We could invite police in to read & hand out school work once a week to handle the loss of the educators limbs.

An armed society is a polite society. Have you ever noticed that mass shootings happen in gun-free zones? There's an easy solution and mountains of facts to support it. To answer your question: A petite .22 pistol would be sufficient.
