After the horrific shooting in Uvalde, I spoke in support of my, @SenRonJohnson, @marcorubio, @ChuckGrassley & @SenatorRisch’s Luke and Alex School Safety Act. This would help create safer schools to prevent another tragedy. @SenSchumer blocked this commonsense bill’s passage.

They have background checks already. Waste of time. This kid posted on the socials, and no one told on him. He was also engaged by police shooting outside for 12 minutes. My god. We live in a world where people video others getting attacked instead of helping.

Our Senate works for their donors. They need the filibuster as an excuse for not doing anything. The only kind of protest that will break the filibuster is one that will break the economy. We won’t even get a national teachers’ strike, much less a general strike. This won’t pass.
