Exactly. Fear is winning. Imagine the level of trauma required to grow an adult who only feels safe with a gun strapped to their hip and an arsenal at home.
It’s a minority but they are relentless.
What kind of society have we created that so many people are more eager to protect the right to own a military style assault weapon than to do everything possible to protect the life of a child? America’s collective gun fetish IS a mental health issue.
