The police chief of Uvalde has finally admitted that the police made the "wrong decision" failing to storm the classroom where the children were murdered. He said "If I thought it would help, I would apologize." Mr. McCraw, it will help. An entire nation needs you to apologize.

This is surreal.

It literally won’t help at all. He needs to resign and take up gardening.

Apologize? He should resign or be fired.

We need all those officers fired and barred from ever being employed as police, guards, body guards or so much as meter maids!

Perhaps a #GoFundMe will get him to apologize?

Do they realize that they are cowards and should not do this job? Probably not.

We need them to admit they did something wrong then do something about it. An apology means nothing and does not help. I also respect you and your opinions, just disagree with this one.

McCraw is not the police chief of Uvalde. He is the director of the Texas Department of Public Safety. I imagine he was the one giving the briefing because Uvalde CISD police chief Pete Arredondo, & the Uvalde Police Chief, Daniel Rodriguez, don't have the courage to be seen.
