The police chief of Uvalde has finally admitted that the police made the "wrong decision" failing to storm the classroom where the children were murdered. He said "If I thought it would help, I would apologize." Mr. McCraw, it will help. An entire nation needs you to apologize.

You realize that they have no legal obligation to save us or protect us? These so called heros!! They have NO legal obligation to protect or serve, but we the people have the legal obligation to follow their orders! Our society is ready to collapse! #CopsHideKidsDie

That statement that the police chief made stating that he would apologize if he thought it would help, spoke volumes about the police chief and none of it was good. The police chief shouldn't be a public servant. The police chief's tears meant nothing his words meant everything.

If they stormed the classroom and the shooter was black - people like you would accuse them of racism

This is not the first highly publicized instance of this occurrence. You'd think all law enforcement would have a revised plan that includes going in quickly.

Complaining on Twitter about a weak non-apology isn’t what the nation needs either.

Male cops never admit their wrong.

In many police issues, top of the chain of command is someone making very bad decisions. This guy has already mentioned so many blunders, he's dumping salt on the wounds.

I don’t need his apology. What we need is that McCraw gets fired and charged.
