Overthrowing tyranny of corporate rule in 2022 is no different than overthrowing tyranny of king and aristocracy in 1776 except that this time we can vote them out. It won’t be easy because they have a chokehold on the system and they are literally in the House, but we will do it

They didn't simply vote in 1776. Lol They didn't shout into the void and make demands that ultimately fell on deaf ears either.

If we vote them out and replace them with more AOC’s, or Pramila Jayapal’s, or Ro Khanna’s, or Nina Turner’s, or Bernie Sanders’s, we might as well not be voting them out at all. We need some Kshama Sawant/Ralph Nader types or else the whole exercise is meaningless.

How can we help?

ANYONE telling you to “just vote” is just as much a part of the problem as the shooters themselves. Structural change is accomplished by MAKING THOSE IN POWER UNCOMFORTABLE - anything less is just appeasement. DIRECT ACTION NOW!! youtube.com/watch?v=-8IOEE9W…

You’re right in the first half, it’s no different than overthrowing the tyranny of king & aristocracy, as in it won’t happen at the ballot box but with an uprising

It’s time for politics of other means and for you to join the call. The only thing corporate interests care about is money. Mutual aid for a general strike that can break the economy can change things. Voting won’t.

I think the system does not work. You vote them out, then there will be another system of inequity to take it's place. I think we need to stop relying on broken systems to fix our problems. Instead, we need to do the hard work of connecting as a community and do good innately.

Overthrowing is loud. Quietly reclaiming a piece of the pie while no one's looking...key. Indigenous women will show the way
