A common characteristic of all advanced mammalian species that survive & thrive is the fierce behavior of the adult female when she senses a threat to her cubs. Women not rising up now in massive numbers to protect our children would be a sign that we have given up on everything.

The visceral feels of powerlessness would be hitting hard for a lot of people. Not to mention the profound sorrow.. And, anger. I'm an Australian citizen, and the whole situation with gun violence in the USA is really challenging to wrap my head around... It's insane. 😢

Unless we launch a mass strike, nothing will fundamentally change. Politicians are all paid off by the gun lobby and until we hit capitalism in its bottom line, nothing, nothing will change.

The absolute and unrelenting financial tyranny which consumes the lives and thoughts of the vast majority of Americans has left the country at large exhausted and not that interested. I guess the system is working exactly as designed.
