A large group of men, including Ted Cruz, are surrounding the police chief in Uvalde as he explains the shooting that occurred there. What they can’t explain is how to prevent another one. For that we’d need a large group of women.

How does the sheriff explain this when the people in control refuse to accept the root cause?!

Really, women in Texas are chattel now, aren’t they? They don’t have rights. For me it’s body autonomy for 9 months..period… if women don’t have that, they’re slaves…plain and simple.

Marianne, if you actually gave a shit about helping or about the victims, I don't understand how you think tweets like this are a good idea. How does this help? anything? If you actually care, then get your ass on the next plane to Uvalde.

As I said yesterday, we need a modern version of the Womens' March on Versailles during the French Revolution. When the ruling class becomes so detached from the suffering experienced by the masses that they feel no sense of urgency for change...
Imagine if the wealthy had to send their children to the same schools & shop at same grocery stores as the poor. If they weren't able to insulate themselves from our social decay... It's time for a modern version of the March on Versailles at the start of the French Revolution.

Maybe this country needs to stop the killing in other countries. Drones wiping out whole families. Mostly innocent getting killed. We may just also stop the mass shootings here by stopping the mass killings overseas.

Or good policy to help heal this nation. But everything is so fucked the solution lives only in my imagination. Expect it to get worse with out senile corrupt "leaders" and the CEOs who own them. They stole everyone's future. This society is in inexorable decline.
