So he’s not even going to try. Not even going to pass a background check bill and make the GOP have to filibuster it in front of everyone. “Not reading the room” doesn’t even begin to cover it. These people aren’t reading the country.

Schumer knows abortion will play a major role in the election and Democrats have a chance at getting the votes of gun carrying GOP soccer moms based on this issue. These same voters can afford to travel to get an abortion, but cannot support people wanting to take away their guns
