I don’t know if Jessica Cisneros will be able to win against Cuellar given his tiny lead but it should be noted what a splendid job she’s done. A 28 yr old female immigration lawyer has faced a vicious onslaught of institutional resistance and if nothing else exposed the system.

If she doesn't win today, she will certainly win next time. If she loses, it will be a terrible shame on the DNC establishment, that as we face so many problems which reps like Cuellar are actively making worse, the DNC is fighting alongside conservatives to stop Progressives.

I hope everyone remembers that House Democratic leadership chose to support an anti-choice, pro-gun man who voted against codifying Roe over a pro-choice woman. THAT is the Democratic party.
