God is Love, and some atheists are more loving than some so-called religious people.

Totally agree. I have hardcore catholic friends that all they care about is self-righteousness. They are so judge mental. And, I also have friends who are atheists and they are the most accepting and kind people.

Atheistic governments (haven’t been many of them) have bad track records as well. That said, morality from an inward and empathetic place would be welcomed by me

"Some atheists are more loving...." ummmm what does religion have to do with love? Atheists are humanists, Marianne. We believe in people, humanity, what we can SEE and MEASURE. Even love.

Which god is love? Is it the one that makes people behead others and stone them to death? Or the one that wants to incarcerate and kill women because they want bodily autonomy?
