I almost don't want to watch it. It's just going to piss me off. He's failed to meet the moment since he was elected, and tonight will be absolutely no different. He should resign.

This is a societal issue. Decades of bad policy and all the despair wrought by the self serving politicians giving our futures away to appease their corporate masters. Start there. Get the rot out and let society heal. It's worsening and this is what happens in a sick place.

While I agree, I think the number of guns - especially assault weapons - is already well past what can be controlled or reigned in. I just don't know how this thread of madness ends.

I'm sure he'll work on it like he's been working on protecting reproductive rights, and averting climate disaster, and easing off fossil fuels.
