For anyone who tries to pull the canard that today’s shooting has nothing to do with gun control and was simply a mental health issue on the part of the shooter: the larger mental health issue is the greed and insanity of a nation that allows guns to be so easily accessible.

You were the one person during the election that really advocated for children and youth. Amongst everything else, that needs to become a major focus in this country.

texas does not have good health care, or dental care, mental health is worse, nuero care lags behind all of it. texas is one of the least insured states in the country.

Fear, fear, fear. A nation that feels it, embraces it, and wields it will continue to suffer mightily.

An economic system of dog-eat-dog competition kills empathy. Then no one can really be your friend, everyone is alone, everyone is a rival, and the madness of shooters should be no surprise. If you want fewer shootings, end capitalism.

Agreed. This kind of thing didn't happen before America became so divided and greedy that anger and fear rules. In a country where the gov't has their primary interest in sending troops & weapons around the world, what else can be expected?

It’s perfectly reasonable to ignore gun control proponents whose ideas have been tried & proven to fail in the past, yet insist on repeating the same failed policies or just doing more of what we know doesn’t work. Your approach to this issue is backwards & will always go nowhere

A weapon is a weapon, and man will create more weapons to replace any weapon that becomes obsolete.
